Default Help led and conversion dash lights stay on??

    Hi guys

Did the SMD led conversion on the headlight switch last night, looks awesome! However I have noticed that as soon as I start the car the speedo/clocks are constantly lit up now, even with no lights/side lights on, is this normal? I can't remember if they lit up all of the time before or not. I haven't touched any of the speedo or anything just the headlight switch, everything else works fine, can anyone check there's for me? It's a 1.9 cdti 58 plate sri if that helps.

    Many thanks

Mine don't, is this a facelift thing? Mine light up for a few seconds when I unlock the car, but that's it, only come on when I turn the sidelights on (except the two LCD screens of course).

Think you might be talking about the headlight switch Marc, the OP is talking about his speedo/clocks lighting up since doing the headlight switch.

That answers that then, it's a facelift thing.

Yup it does light up, but i didn't know it was a facelift feature. You probably didn't notice before coz the yellow leds weren't bright in daylight.

Cheers guys, I was panicking that I'd done something wrong then! Ordering some more smds tonight for the rest of the car.
