top mounts and bearings

Just fitted the spring to shock and bearing and top mount, question is, is the top mount ment to be stiff to turn? I can turn it by hand but its stiff. Wondered if its worth spraying wd40 on bearings there brand new just wondered if its worth putting Wd40 on or just left

leave em as they are mate, they will be greased up inside and once on the car they will be fine..

I forgot to put the yellow mount type thing on the shock, to stop the top mount hitting the bottom of the shock

thats the bump stop mate, i would be getting it fitted again but dont panic, it's only there to stop bottoming out...
