    Default Track list on cd70

i replaced my cd70 with gid to the cd70 with cid.

when i played an mp3 with the gid cd70, the track name and artist appeared on the screen.

since i upgraded to the cd70 with cid......the names or artists dont appear, just the track number and duration.

can anyone enlighten me why this happens and if i can change the settings to get the names/artists on the display?

    cheers

    rab.............

i burn my discs using nero.........i did this with the cd70 and gid.

i use the same nero program yet when i put the disc into the cd70, theres no artist or track info on the cid - just the track number and duration.

so its not the burning software - its the cid/cd70 i need the advice on

You need to burn the audio cd with CDText. Either that or the software on your currently fitted CD70 might be older than the version on the one you've just taken out.

The yysnet aux instructions say to update the software on the unit to the latest version for the aux to work, so it is a possibility that you will have to do it to get cd text to work. I've never used a cd70 though so I don't know for 100% certainty.

(I'm assuming you changed the lot here rather than just divorced/married your current unit with the new CID)

ive got the cd 70 in mine . and it has always never gave any info on just a cd ,

that,s why i only do them in mp3 , and the fact that you can get a lot more music on one cd /,
