If I remember correctly, a popular choice seems to be HIDs Direct... I'm forever getting them mixed up with HIDS4U... one is decent, the other a bit hit n miss... think I have it the right way around.

Bulb failure warnings isn't a big problem with HIDs, that's more from LEDs when fitted to sidelights.

    Take a look at : http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/categor...-kits-for-cars

Gives you plenty to choose from. The choice of 35w or 55w is really down to you... I run 35w 6000k and love it, personally... others will swear by 55w kits.

Choice of colour temperature is a bigger concern. Personally I'd say either 5000k or 6000k are good... 4300k is supposedly closest to OEM but some can find 5000k gives a more white light, where 6000k can have a slight blue tint.
Older kits also required 'cancellors' to accomodate for the flicker caused by the lamp check system, but new kits should have a built-in compensation - just make sure you pick a 'Canbus Compatible' kit and if you can, get 'Xenons Present' enabled by someone with a 'computer based application' in your car's ECU.

Get a terminator kit. One like this:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-CANBUS...item3a77eb0d40

    or

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-CANBUS...item3f154ad259

I have the we-sell-hids kit fitted for about 3 months now and it seems fine, to be fair I think they are all the same whoever you buy off.

i bought a kit that had the cancelers built into the ballasts, had no issues what so ever since fitted, will try and find a link, but it was from ebay with only so many available from the seller, so not really much use to you now
they also came with metal based bulbs which i find lock into the holder alot better than the plastic ones i have bought in the past.

it was a 6k kit as it was quite a it cheaper than the 4.3k kits i was looking at, but i wanted as standard looking as possible, so bought a set of 4.3k metal based bulbs for about £6 iirc, and sold the 6k on

Got my HID kit from www.hids4us.com 3½ years ago. Had one bulb failure approx 14 months ago, but £10 for 2 new ones from ebay sorted it. Other than that everything has been fine.

Loads of threads both dissing and praising hidsdirect. Because of the negative feedback I read about them, I steered clear. Bad customer service, etc.
