Default Mercedes finally catch up with Vauxhall.

From the press release blurb for the new S-class. Basically sounds like the rear of my Signum built in 2003:

    REAR INTERIOR

Long-wheelbase models come with the option of ‘Executive’ reclining individual seats. The backrest on the nearside rear seat can tilt to 43.5deg, the most of any car, and the 'Chauffeur' package allows the front seat to be pushed forward. The Executive package includes a ‘Business’ centre console that can house two bottles in the central chiller and has cupholders that can both chill and heat.

I own a signum also and srangely enough was looking at a 2003 S class the other day! And i am sorry to say but vauxhall have a long way to go to get to the level of an S class! The room in the rear was unbelievable and the spec just outright rediculous, the say you want to know what will be on a car in 10 years just look at the S class, the one i looked at had dvd sat nav, bi xenons auto lights. Evwrything was electric even the seats had that airmatic system that miniture fans blow air through the perfarated leather seats. I am sorry but i like my signum a lot but it didnt even come close to the Sclass that was a year older than my car! That was a W220 version.

    Default

Probably fit your Signum in the back of the S Class

I have owned many Mercs over the years and they are in a different level of quality when it comes to build versus any other car company,
they have some great ideas and some really bad ones as well SBC Braking, V6 320 CDI front main bearing fault after oil change, CDI engines swallowing swirl flaps,
the biggest glass jaw on the CDI engine (Mercedes black death) this will give you a nightmare of a clean up repair job.

Love em to bits but they are not the "bullet proof" engines they used to be.
