    Default inlet manifold recommend a new one please

    manifold is getting replaced but i need to buy the parts,so could someone point me in right direction and all that is needed,do i need a new swirl flap motor? also is there a new version that replaces the old faulty one cheers

    re the actuator - the last two I have done - yes I changed it. Pierburg tell you that it learns its travel over time, and they make the things. that doesnt mean it wont be 100% all OK if you dont - but its a whole heap of work to not change it.

    I got all the parts from VX trade - but the inlet above is a good price with gasket.

    I used the a similar one on ebay but this one is cheaper in price now. Although i didn't change the actuator motor as mine seemed to be fine. I also ordered a actuator link arm from vx as these imo are brittle and can break on removal. Just preference but a few extra £ i bought throttle body gasket and new egr gaskets too. Whilst your at clean throttle body and boost sensor!!

    actuator link arm? whats that egr is blanked and throttle all done with sensor i do it regular to keep it clean.cheers guys
