    Default front bumper problem

    My front bumper was sticking out slightly at the wheel arch so I undun the screw pushed the bumper in tightened the screw hew presto but couple days layer it's poped back out again any ideas.

    Might be a common vec c problem, mine was like that, until i loosen the bumper yesterday to change two front indicator bulbs. So they are tight now. Hopefully stay like that.

    Try undoing the top screw, push it back in to release the locking clips, then align the bumper, and finally do up the top screw to slide the locking clips back into place.

    Mine did this when i caught it on a wall. Loosen and push forward the guide (held by the torx screws), then with an assistant pushing in and keeping pressure on it, tighten the catch. This worked best for me, but with it being plastic, it could be a different flexibility etc..

    I should say - I meant keep the pressure on the bumper while tightening! Didnt word the above very well

    As above slacking the top screw but not all the way out push it in so it pushes the catch thing back and get someone to posh on the bumper while you tighten it.

    Tried all the above lol that's how I do the bumper anyways. Push hard and screw the screw in it stays level but couple days later it sits out slightly.

    sounds like the clips aint engaging right, dunno what else is possible tbh
