    Default 6000k vs 4300k

well iv just taken some 6000k off and put 4300k on and its made a huge difference in colour.

the 4300 look VERY yellow compared to the blue of the 6000 but i didnt expect it to be THAT yellow..

you know what its like, you see vids and pics of the colours but they never seem the same as in real life and thats why i opted for the 4300's over 5000's.

i think that for the price of the bulbs, il buy a set of 5000's to see how much better the lights is and post my findings.

i now have a spare pair of 6000k h7 bulbs if anyone would like them to try for free or cover the postage im more than happy to let them go instead of binning them... they are a bit old and one bulb its starting to silver but they do work fine once warmed up properly.

4300k shouldn't look yellow, they are what manufacturers fit as standard on HID equipped cars - you don't see yellow lights on new BMWs and Mercs that have factor HIDs.

Agree with Rebellion. I had a set of 4300k in mine for a while, and they certainly didn't look yellow.

4300 is the best match for the main beams - I found that on 6000, the dip beam was a completely different colour to the main and looked awful. 6000 IMO is touching a blue white and looks a tad aftermarket. The 4300 I fitted after give better light coverage and look a whole lot nicer and also look factory
