Silver for the OE look, or green is a good contrast to the black to make it stand out,
I used hammerite silver and copper at a 5:1 ratio for a new metal look. Hate these bright coloured caliper, only suit high performance cars like porsche etc.
I like that alot. Subtle..
I did this two years ago and now my mrs has the car, drives round country roads caking up the wheels in much and they still come up nice with a modest wipes with a sponge.
Silver looks ok or black, personally I wouldn't paint the calipers a bright colour unless they were brembo or another aftermarket caliper.
Blue
Black or silver if you have regular calipers. Red or blue if you have 314 or bigger.
i have painted mine blue,i have 314 mm brakes so wanted them to stand out a bit more.lol
took me ages to decide on the colour!
How do you guys paint the calipers, do you take them out and paint them or do you do them while on the car, and what's the best type of painr besides hammerite, I'll stick to silver, I think it's the best colour and maybe black.
