Hello mate ,You will need canbus LEDs for side lights, they all flicker.
Driving with sidelights on stops flickering, and when you lock the car they will prob flicker for upto 15 seconds after

I'm pretty sure the boot lamp is a festoon bulb (like a big plug fuse but glass).

Map reading lamps and sidelight bulbs are capless w5w bulbs. You can swap the interior lamps for LED equivalents but go for a design that 'points' down more than just having SMDs on the two flat sides.

Sidelights will pulse from the lampcheck unless you have some additional form of resistance to replicate the resistance of a normal incandescent bulb.

Despite the claims of 'CanBus friendly' or 'CanBus compatible' LEDs, as has been said they will ALL pulse unless additional resistance is fitted.

Interior lights can be changed to LED, just be careful with the rear seat lights as there is a strange connection on them that LED's don't "like" unless you carry out a slight mod first. Boot light, glovebox lights also ok for LED's, BUT ANY of the external lighting will flicker with the canbus system including sidelights and number plate lights, can bus LED's or not.

    Thanks guys

I brought some LED's for the boot light,it was a 2 inch by 2 inch square covered in LED's but it worked for about 2 days then became very dim and had to revert back to normal bulb,im not sure if it was because they were cheap or not? They came with an adaptor which fitted into the interior map light but that never worked at all so that why im a bit confused with it all lol

    Would these be ok?

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x5-SMD-LE...item4602edabb6 for map light?

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6-LED-239-...item43ab324218 for boot light?

Think i may pass on the side lights unless somebody has got a link?

    Thanks
