    Default Skip hire cost?

Anyone have an idea roughly what a small (Mini) skip would cost as most you need to ring for a quote.

    Default

Depends on use and length of time
Can be anywhere from £50 to £200 per week
Make sure you receive a copy of the licence when it is dropped off, if it is going to be kept on the roadside or pavement, no licence no skip
The licence will show how long the council have authorised its use for (typically 14 days maximum)

over here its around £180 for a mini.......and a bit of advise, tipping costa are that expensive now, so don"t be doing the old doors up the side trick to max fill it,
the skip driver will either refuse to take it, or will clear stuff of the top........

Its about 30-40 2/3rd full rubble bags as I have just dug up a path.

If its going to cost over £100 I might as well do a load of tip runs lol

You might find that the local tip has ANPR cameras in place and will fine you via the council if you make more than 2 or 3 visits a month.

We have 3 local tips and one near to where I work

Should get at least 8 bags in with the seats down.

That's a good point as our local authority allow 8 visits per year (in any of their facilities)
However they also allow 8 bulk uplifts per year for free

not sure what way ur local council works over in the mainland.......but this is more or less how it operates over here..........
say u pull in with a trailer load of rubble, u would get it tipped no probs, but say u came back in another 2 hours with another load full, they would be over asking if its personal house hold waste, and would be looking a postcode, and if they catch ya spoofing as in ur a contracter, ur looking a massive fine.........which i agree with.........
