Changing the time on the clock

I took my Vauxhall stereo out and put an Alpine one in.

now found out that to change the time you have to go into the settings on the vauxhall stereo.

Is there anyway around this, or is it a case of either having the wrong time for 6 months, or fitting the vauxhall stereo just to change the time?

Someone local with tech2 or opcom will be able to do it for you, it's dead easy to do and doesn't require the car pass (which is a bonus!)

or I believe if you reconnect your original head unit you can set the time then put the alpine back in
