R8 yellow Relay?

Does anybody know what the yellow R8 relay is for in the fuse box next to the battery?

I know the R11 is fuel pump relay but just wondered what the other 1 is for as they are exactly the same and i have swapped them over

Ahh thats interesting,i thought R11 was fuel pump relay and was the cause of my cutting out problem

I dont spose you have the diagram(s) for the rest of the fuses boxes located in and around the car?

Unfortunatly the problem i thought i had cured by seating the R11 relay is still there

The fault code that came up was P1625 - Main Relay opens too early But im just totaly stumped why it only does it when its cold (below about 5 degrees)

When i put the key in and turn to position 2 i can hear the fuel pump buzzing and then cut out for a second and the yellow engine light goes out then it starts again.Also ive had it where i put the key in,turn to position 2 and the lights cone on the dash and i turn the key and theres nothing there.

If the car cuts out more than 3 times the spanner light comes on and its into limp mode untill the car has warmed up a bit then i can switch off and run as normal.

Im totaly confused

Replace the relay first.

The last time I come across this code I had to re-flash the ECU.
