Do you already have the TD04 and gray injectors? If so change the exhaust and you should jump straight to stage 3 after a map

it will probably be the TD04L11T and the denso 381cc injectors.. it will be good for tuning but if you modified that turbo you will have much more fun.. It can very easily be modified from an 11 into a 14 giving it a decent size compressor to then tune to..

A sports exhaust is part of any tuning stage tbh but quality and performance depends on who makes it and how much you spend.. Its always best to do exhausts in the earlier stages of tuning to get the best out of the later stages which get significantly more expensive..

I'm a tech for a Mercedes dealer so getting dirty isn't a problem where would I get the parts to do the turbo ? And how easy is it to do ?

thats the tricky bit..... you can send it off to CRTurbo down in the New Milton who will fit the bigger 14t compressor wheel and mill out our compressor housing or fit a bigger one one for you.. Now stripping a turbo down is easy enough but whenever a compressor or turbine wheel is changed then the cartridge needs to be rebalanced and thats the bit you can do at home..

tbh the easiest way is to send them the whole turbo, they will have it back to you soon enough.. give them, a call and speak to Craig, he knows what he is talking about.

Now it if you have the time you can always order a 14T wheel yourself and fit it then just send the chra itself off to be balanced but am not sure if the compressor housing is identical inside.. if it needs milling then its best they do it..

or you buy the complete 14t upgrade kit from ebay but beware of cheap chinese copies
