signum SQL build

well after years of having silly loud systems i thought it was time to have a change and build something that has abit more sound quailty so over the next cuple months i will be putting all this in my signum

Pioneer SPH-DA100 AppRadio
gladen 4 to 6 processor
audiocontrol epicenter
gladen SQL 165 DUAL components
gladen XL 250c4 4 channel amp
2x gladen SPL 1800c1 (will be upgraded to 3 to give me 5286rms)
3x Ascendant Audio havoc 12s
2x xs power d3100 batteries
2x Silent Coat MultiLayer Bulk Pack
Silent Coat Noise Isolator 4
Silent Coat Noise Buffler 20
custom front door cards to hold 2 16.5 mids
6.8cuft ported box with false floor to mount amps with perspex cover
custom fused distribution block in copper (like the last one i built in the picture)

Looking good mate, the only thing I'm curios about is the size of the box, I'm assuming the measurements in your picture aren't correct as they only give you 4.5cuft without any displacement.

I will be following this thread as I really need some inspiration to get on with my install

thanks the tuning will be around 33hz even tho this will be a SQL setup i will also be doing competitions as i am the southwest propper droppers judge.

haha its going to be back on the road in the next cuple week so i will find out then but my saxo had just over 400kg of audio. just the tunnel with the subs in weights around 240kg

I take it you don't value your hearing?

the systems i build are low tuned systems (designed to play loud between 20-40hz) so ear damage is not much of a risk at these frequencies its the door speakers playing around 4000hz that will cause hearing damage but thast why we dont turn up the doors unless they are open when demoing at shows

thanks mate the box above is 5.68cuft without sub and port displacement using 18mm mdf. i have made the box a little bigger so after sub and port displacement i will have 5.6cuft with around 9.6sq:in port area but looking at funds i think i am going to build a 4th order box for a single havoc 1st untill i have the other 2 subs.

I have my hertz hsk 165's in running from the headunit for now but they will be run off my genesis profile 4 ultra (2x300wrms) and a jl audio w3v2d4 that I'm debating weather to build a removable ported mdf box or go down the stealth fibreglass route, that will be run from my genesis profile sub (550wrms @2ohm)
A little more sq than my last install that was 2x kicker s12l7's in a 5cuft ported box tuned to 40hz and that was running at 142db (tested at proper droppers in Essex )

Mr Owens sounds like a good setup I used to have 2 genesis profile 4's great sounding amps but ended up fitting them in a T4 van running 2 10s and yeah been on talk audio for years not been on there much in the last 6 months tho.

UPDATE: Well life has been abit crazy since i 1st got the signum so havnt had a chance todo much audio work but the C2 is working now found 1 or 2 problem biggest is the roof braking all the welds then started to peal its self away from the car but its going to a friends next week for some ott metal work and boot needs to be retrimed as the leather the customer got me was shocking.

Back to my own build the subs and sound deaderning will be here next week i have the sub box mostly done just need to make my trim panels then i can cut the port and sub holes. the front end will be next months buy working full time now so hard getting time inbetween family and work to get anything done but i have some cool idea's that i think you guys will like. pictures of the signum will be up later.
