Unfortunately for me as an only car an astra wouldn't be big enough. If an Astra suits your needs I'd say go for the Astra, although the edition 100 Vectra's go for not alot of money now!

I almost bought an Astra coupe when I bought my first vec. My problem was that from the outside I thought it looked great, but inside it looked like any other astra. I suppose it depends what you want from the car

Yea that's what putting off the inside is very basic and not very warm welcoming. But love the steering wheel lol. I suppose a 100 vectra would be better as the interior not that outdated

That has been my only concern with getting a coupe or cab as a project, still stunning outside but just the whole feel of the interior (except seats of course) as its closer to the cheap looking Corsa B then it is to the nicer Versions of the Vectra/Astra H... I still loved my G's but you can put up with it if its just a weekend project/driver, I say go for it

I guess with a cabriolet the interior isn't as much of an issue as the intention is to get it out when the sun is shining (the car you filthy minded lot!) and you're not enclosed in the interior? What's the deal with the 888 coupe's? there's a rather taty looking one on ebay at the minute.

Go for a skyline r34 gtt you wont be dissapointed, i am wantin to get another skyline, i have had 2 already both r33 gtst and they are immense cars as well as practical and both i had were descent for fuel! Prices are getting better for them and very tunable and reliable, insurance aint as harsh as you would expect at 28 with 3years ncd and my 25 year old gf on my insurance with every mod stated i was £620 fully comp! Not many cars capable of 170+ you could buy at the price for an r33 r34 are a little more but look awesome! Oh yes i will have another!

But if going to stay vauxhall astra coupe is nice! The vectra is nice i have a signum 2.0t and love it, although the 175bhp would have been better if it was 200bhp but Saab engine is excellent. Turbo is there soft spot! Just done mine, you should look for a signum turbo, or 3.0cdti
