Managed to get it sorted and went upto burton on trent about 9am. The drive took about 3 hours each way but my god was it worth it.
What a fantastic car.
When we got there we immediately went out for a drive and noticed the steering wheel was totally off centre so when we got back it went straight into the workshop to get adjusted. The sales guy tom was a really nice fella and very helpful. In regards to the above thread he just said to keep it between us so was a bit relieved to say the least lol.
All I can say is im over the moon and its been a long time coming but ive finally got my vxr. The drive is superb, the noise is awesome and im in love lol.
Didnt check before but the tow bar was apparently in the boot but we cant seem to find it so will be on the phone tomorrow to see where its disappeared to .
No big deal as I wont use it but you never know. Haven't got any pics at the mo but il get some up tomorrow as its been a long day.and im shattered. Well worth it though.
Just want to say thanks for the advice on my never ending threads about cars. I know ive ruffled a few feathers lately. Ive got the one I really want and im chuffed.
I love the cd40 aswell. Not figured out how to use it all yet but thats part of the fun. Also love the electric rear windows. I assume they were standard on the vxrs??
I also found that overall on fuel it was better then the st on the way up so im happy with that
