Default Rear NSR Caliper 2.0 DTI 2004

So sorting the brakes out and my old man discovers that the NSR brake caliper is in pretty dire shape, piston messed up from a prior owner using stilsons to try and rewind the piston, caliper pushed out to the stops as the piston is sticking out so far and caliper filled with crap behind the piston and seals totally shot.
    Ordered this >> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1308290914...84.m1439.l2649
as far as I can tell it should be the right caliper.
Seller queried though if I had solid or vented rear discs, his supplier thinks it should be vented discs and therefore a different caliper, however the car has solid rear discs fitted...
So either system glitch with the supplier or someone has swapped the discs over at some point....This car is turning into a headache rapidly......

    Default

The ad states a disc thickness of 10mm which is a solid disc. If it was vented it would be more like 25mm thick so it looks like the correct caliper for a solid disc. HTH

Came today, all seems in order, caliper properly rebuilt, all new seals and piston. So well happy, happier still once send the other one back and get the £15 surcharge back
