i might let a local company i have used in the past do the work, spoke to them today and explaned what i wanted doing.after a lengthly conversation they agreed to do the work and quoted about £100 for fitting.this i think is a great price and also offers so come back if something goes pearshaped as they will have done the work.anyway i'll think about it and let you all know.

yea i know were you are m8, and also i know of autotronix. they have been going for some years and i think the company you are on about are in rotherham.
I have had problems with that company about 9 years ago and would never go back but thats my opinion. but have heard some good reports so dont let that worry you.

Anyway i was looking at the stage 3 which we are both going for. only found infomation about the upgrade on the saab forum.

i have spent ages looking through differant things about BSR remap/upgrades. The 2.0T upgrade stage 3 ( SAAB Models ) have suffered from clutch problems ( slipping ) this includes 6/5 speed and auto box. i'm not sure if we have the same gear box and clutch but well worth looking through the saab forum bud. all im thinking is if we go to stage 3 and have clutch slip then we need to get uprated clutch kit too. This was also reported on stage 1 upgrades. when the car was put back to standard ( from stage 1 ) they had no problems

and its not going to be a easy job either. i think the sub frame has to be taken off to get to the gear box etc. it may not effect us but it does need looking into.

    Great research!
Definitely going to need more that a pair of DIY car jacks to do the job properly....

One problem I have noticed with having the cat relocated is that it is so exposed. Higher possibility of cracking it if you go through a load of water...

Changed my mates VXR exhaust system the other day and it seemed very simular to that. Downpipe is rather easy to get too, would advise a breaker 1/2 drive bar Did it on axle stands in an hour

    Very good write up.
