    Default Dual Mass Flywheel

    Hi ya guys,

I think I have a problem with mine, which VXL will not do under warranty (Long Story)

The part is exspensive (£750 + Vat) do you know if this is the same as what they use on the Isuzu 3.0 CDTI? thought I could try a price from them?

Or is there any uprated ones for the 3.0 CDTI v6.

    Cheers.

Why won't they do it under warranty Martyn?...

I don't know for sure if the isuzu one is a straight swap, and without having your car stripped out it would be a heck of an expensive gamble to buy one in advance.Unless the isuzu parts guys know for deffo, i'd stick to getting it from VX..But then there's fitting on top, and that isn't going to be cheap..

Take it to another garage, even if you have to travel it'll be worth it to save the £1000+ bill!
Not all dealers are the same! Dont take no for an answer.

Yes - they can refuse to replace it.

Have you forgot to unplug powerbox?

No box on it. Been through VXL head office and excutive support and still nothing. Long story.

Its an 04 model. Still I've have a look out for an uprated one or even a custom one from quaiffe or what ever their name is. I wonder how much that would be?

any warranty will only cover for faulty manufacture or excessive wear due to again faulty manufacture,if the item has been abused in any way and that includes tuning or someone abusing the say clutch and that causes damage then the manufacturer/warranty co can and will refuse to cover the item
