Tech 2 help

My 2.2 SXI is going in next Monday to check why I've had to put 4 litres of oil in in the last 10K. When I booked it in I also mentioned that I'd like it Tech 2'd. Things not working are the Auto closing of windows in rain, the auto locking doors feature and the one-botton press to open/lock all doors and boot.

Is there a known list of features that "should be" enabled in my spec/year car that I should check for before I take it in please?

Tech 2 is a hand held "computer" devise that plugs into the diagnostic port that is under the ashtray, it enables the "bloke" at vauxhall to read any fault codes that have been stored on the ECU and also to reprogram some of the operations of the car.

The oil usage is excessive, but getting VX to accept that will be hard.. it took Rushy ages to get a new engine out of them. and as for the auto door locking etc, not all the cars had these features or even the possibility of enabling them.. the auto door locking doesn't work on my 04 GSi for example..but the 'one press' does... sems very hit and miss..

Take it back, and let us know how you get on... 2.2's are well known for oil usage so they may just try to duck the issue..
