    Default p0304 error

Had this code come up yesterday with the engine management light had the code read and cleared by a friend who said its a misfire on injector 4 and to see if it comes back up as could just have been in the memory and popped up because its cold. Now the problem is the engine management light hasnt cone back on but the car is very jumpy at low revs. Am I best replacing the spark plugs and see if this helps

Always check them first, it may be they are due to be changed anyway. If this does not sort it you will be looking at replacing the coilpack next.

Yeah, check ya plugs, check for air leaks, give the injectors a flush threw with some injector cleaner and then if any if the above doesn't sort it, change the coil pack.

You may have a dodgy HT lead, sometimes a small break of the innards or a tiny tear in the coating can cause a misfire and lumpy running.

Not an expensive fix yet not one many tend to consider!

No HT leads, it is a coil pack!!

I have done the same thing many a time, it is worse when you start talking about points, condensers and ballast resistors.....
