Default Canbus swap, half to full?

How hard a job is this and what's involved?

Thanks Paul, BUT it isn't me and @Robsey doing it, it is 100% Robsey doing it to my car.

We are dealing with a few unexpected difficulties with the front speakers at the moment, but I'm sure Robsey will get these resolved and will be able to answer the question afterwards.

Its not even really the head unit, its more the steering wheel strollers and a decent astra wheel/opel airbag combo... The new vectra is full can, but if cant get it running its just a doner, so all just plans at min

If you have the scrollers on the wheel already, then it is 99% certain that the car is already a Full Canbus car.
As such, provided you are prepared to modify any of the Headunit connectors that are different, the job of installing a CD70 should be plain sailing in comparison to the halfcan cars which are only likely to have steering buttons and not the scroll wheels.

That's the idea tho, the cdti is half can, the 2.2 full can... How easy would it be to swap these over?
