I'm going back silver with mine soon, still undecided wether to just spray them (free) or to get them stripped and re-powder coated, seen some high power chrome stuff that needs to be powder coated and baked properly (can't be sprayed) but just trying to judge if its worth the cost to me...

They will be going on the CDTi as there in better nick then my other set, giving it a few weeks but if black on black is too much (which know it will) I'll spray them...

How did you get on with the polishing bud?...

Black wheels are for lazy people who hate cleaning their wheels.

I'd suggest the opposite, just look at black cars... I have to do mine every other day and tyre shine well to make the tyres darker then the alloys, where as the car can go a good week without cleaning as its silver

I can feel a brawl coming on them lol! ;-)

Not as bad as I thought it was gonna be actually, didnt get much done as the woman was at work 3-12 so I had the wee one. Got a decent finish on the 'test' area though.
Will hopefully get it finished tomorrow, so I'll post some piccies :-)
