Default Having a problem with the rear wiper blade, (estate car)

since the cold weather started last year, it came to a point that i had to replace the rear wiper blade, since i have the veccy estate, and after a mistake of listening and buying a wrong part from Auto Battery Services, i finally realized that i have to replace the wiper itself.
on first attempt, i thought i had bent the blade slightly as i found out it was missing the middle part of the window when i was clearing the screen, so i bought another blade thinkin it do the trick, and its doin the same, missing the middle of the screen and i was careful of how it was being fitted, now i know that that cold weather isn`t helping, but i`m beginning to think i need to replace the arm as well, and if i do i`ll go for the `floppy` wiper mod that i`ve seen for the estate,
    can anyone help?

I've had my estate for a couple of years now and the rear screen wiper has always been a bit hit and miss - it either misses a bit at the top of the screen or a bit at the bottom - I have changed it twice and it's not made a deal of difference - good luck with yours

I've changed mine every year since getting my estate, buying the cheapest available off eBay and they've been perfect each time.

Do you change the whole arm or just the blade

It's been mentioned on here before that there is not enough tension in the wiper arm spring on the estate.....it is pretty crap, my Dad always buys Bosch wipers and even they arent much cop on the rear!

Never had any problems with mine like that at all, I always buy the replacements from the Vauxhall dealers, not even sure which brand that would be but have never had the issue being described.
