Default Expensive watch, investment?? Omega seamaster advice

Thinking of saving up for a nice watch (second hand) i really like omega seamasters! Can get a 2nd hand one for around £700.
even though i dont physically wear any watch and just look at my phone for time, would you bother or will i still not wear it!? Lol, and i wont loose value on a good omega would i?
also does anyone know the difference in medium and large faces? My wrists arnt massive so would a medium face be surfice? Cheers

Take a look at Breitling's, I have an aerospace, they are really slim, try and go for a titanium as its not heavy.

I just think they look smart with a nice shirt. I think breitlings maybe too expensive for me. And i love the seamaster as its not too bling.

700 isn't very much. rolex -now that's expensive

as an investment, i don't think it'll be particularly great - but just get what you want if you have the money.

I'm just guessing that you are under half my age. I've long since learnt that you can't stick an old head on young shoulders, and you wouldn't want to anyway . Anyway, the point of this is to try to advise you that there are more important things in life than watches, moreso at your age. There are also much better investment opportunities if you have the cash and want to put it somewhere "safe".

A nice watch is just that, something nice to own along with all the other trappings in life, but usually, some of the other "trappings" are worthy of a position at the top of your list.

Deposit on a house, saving for a wedding possibly, maybe just even "invested" in something ? Years ago, a deposit account or shares would have been a top recommendation, but nowadays.... well we know what happened, but Gold if bought at the market price (or below if you get lucky) is likely to be a sound investment. I'm talking about the likes of Kruggerands or something with a set market price, rather than just "bling" that is likely to be overpriced versus it's weight.

Anyway, if you have the cash, hold onto it fella. A decent watch can wait until you have all the other "life essentials"

My tag heuer was £20 from spain, its even kinetic.

My friend bought a cartier watch in barbados years ago at a favourable exchange rate for about £2k, its now worth about £5k. so yes sometimes a good investment.

sounds like there's some precious metal in that.
definitely can be a sound investment if it's platinum or something, but highly volatile prices.

700 probably isn't going to be in the precious metal market.
