Are you referring to the silver reflector surface or the projector domes?

If the latter, then they all have that cloudy appearance about them.

Yup the silver reflector surface. It's got water marks everywhere. Can I take the headlight off and rinse it out like a bottle?

I've done that previously with some preface headlamps, and it worked a treat. Took mine out and gave them a really good rinse out under the tap. What I would say though is don't use too warm water, as it strips the silver coating off of the reflector surfaces.

Also, if you have the option, use filtered water - put through a jug filter or similar. That way you should reduce anything left behind.

Your other option of course is to remove and strip the headlamp units, then clean everything thoroughly, before reassembly. Hard job perhaps, but it means you can be sure everything is clean, dry and mark free.

How do you strip it up? Does it come apart or do you need to put it in an oven? Lol

Normally, the lens is secured to the body of the unit with an adhesive mastic - was a pig to seperate on Omegas but I believe one or two on here have managed Vectra lamps without breaking anything, while fitting LED DRL strips (Daylight Running Lamps).
