    Default vectra c 1.8 manifold/cat any way to clean it??

    is there any way to clean the cat? any spray cleaner designed for the job to spray in from lambda hole?
    it hasnt colapsed i think its just coked up.

    I'm interested in this thread... My car has done 105k over 9 years and is on the original cat...

    Anyone used Cataclean? Any reviews? I've never had any reason to suspect the cat is blocked, is it worth using Cataclean simply as a routine service?

    im going to thrash it in 3rd for 15 mins before the retest and if it fails again ill try this cleaner.

    Others have recommended BK 44k as well, its easier to use apparently. Stick some Shell V Power through it too. I used it for a few months there in my 1.8, you can feel a difference as it burns a bit hotter too.
