any mountain bikers on the forum as ive tuck it up loving it but ****** hard work loving getting dirty like being a kid again and slowly getting fit and loosing weight which helps any local lad up for a meet in the near future

Hi slap204, i like my bike and i'm a few weeks back from cycle round Applecross in the north west of Scotland. No good for a meet, but thought i'd respond! Did about 18 mile coast road then 9 mile over a hill (felt like a mountain this early in the year!) from Applecross to Kenmore over the hill back to Applecross.

Yup me too, love a bit of biking. Have a Specialized Hard Tail and just waiting on delivery of my new Ribble Road bike.

I'm a big fan of MTB too, but don't get out anywhere near as much as I'd like.

Picked up a Rock Rider hardtail in January but only used it a couple of times so far
