wheel bolts

need to know how tight to do the wheel bolts on a vectra c

iv always done mine to 60 bl ft
but a friend has just had her wheel come off the car
shock to me when the wheel was changed the studs were so tight a 2 ft long bar had to be use to take them off and you needed it to and the help of a 14stone fitter standing on it with a littel bounce

whats your views on what may be up

56lb-s torque I think off top of my head?

For my 19" Kahn's I used tight as I could by hand then did 45 degree turn. That kept them on. For some reason 56lb-s torque didn't....

Its probably in the handbook in the car - although after my friendly garage did them up I broke a 17mm socket undoing mine..... they are just air gun monkies I think!
