Disconnect the battery for approx 30 mins and then feel about underneath the drivers seat for and loose wires or plugs, I have known this to do the trick on several different cars, it may not work but it don't cost owt!

Would be worth getting the code cleared and see if it re-appears. I'm sure air bag faults don't clear until you clear them manually.

Lights on the dash are not currently being regarded as an MOT Failure, still in discussion re the new changes.

Airbag light will go out if fault recitfied without the need to reset, they do on a Vectra C anyhow, did on mine, before my light was on all the time it was on off on off all the time.

Not sure about the Corsa, but the Vectra has second plug under seat attached to the front seat frame, small connector about 15mm in diameter and around 40mm long, if the Corsa has that connector try diconnecting and cleaning.

There was a recall for GM cars in the States to replace this very connector, no such recall here though.

Not according to this testers manual - http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_540.htm

ABS and ESC warning lights are also checked - http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_340.htm
