Fault codes

I keep getting the same fault codes on my car and it says unknown DTC 2 codes as follows
U2112-71
U2139-71
does any one know what they mean as i cant find a answer on line

Both are network errors

U2112: No comms with CDC (Continous Damping Control)
U2139: No comms with CIM (Steering Column Module)

Have you tried clearing the codes and seeing if they appear again?

Edit: Sorry just noticed you said they keep appearing... Maybe check the fuses? Also are you scanning it correctly (electrics on when scanning, probably are as you would get more no comms DTC's than what you stated, but just in case...)

ahh U2112 cdc no comms makes sense as ive done away with the ids rubbish lol.. but U2139 dosnt.. they both reappear when cleared and yep ignition on when scanning

yeah i did think about stting the cdc to not present but was worried if this would deactivate the sport button and the vxr remap is sport button activted
