    Default Heater Control Panel

    Hi guys i got my vectra at the end of october, and ive just noticed this problem, it appears that the heater does not go cold when turned to off.
    do anybody know if its a known problem or am i having to get a new unit?
    Vectra c 2.0dti ls 2004
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Same here m8, waiting on parts from Vx, which the dealer has already changed once a couple of weeks ago, and it didn't cure it then, so I'm sure it wont now.

    I've just noticed your thread wanting a control panel as well, are you sure that's the problem ?
    That's been changed on mine already, didn't cure it, so they've ordered another one !
    My monies on a servo motor ?

    it seems that you may also have the failure of the servo motor that controls how much air gets heated by the car, and how much can pass through at outside temperature.. you'd need to get the 2nd part i mentioned looked at..

    So if it is the servo is it covered by warrenty?

    Yeah it should be, assuming you can find a dealer who knows one end of a wiring loom from the other, lol.
    If you are under warrenty it should be covered anyway no matter what it is, my dealers getting me a second panel, even though it is not the problem.
