    Default Lowering Vxr estate...

    Hi all,
    looking to lower my Vxr estate, problem I am having is looking to put uprated shocks on but how do I get round the ids sensors that are fitted?
    Any help or suggestions would be great..

    Plenty guys have had it done , u can switch ids off with tech2 and keep ur sport button, I'm sure Vxr online will have bit more info than us ordinary vectra owners

    no need to go over there bud my vxr runs bilstein B8's and Dap R racing springs the ids sensors have been unplugged and the wiring taped up and taped out of the way and plasma kindly disabled the ids light car is light and day difference compared to the ids stuff

    Thanks Guys for all the replys..

    Am a memeber of Vxronline as well so will have to do a bit more research..Lol..

    Heard coilovers are a pain to set up!!

    So may just stick with sport shocks plus springs..

    yep plasma is the top man on here with a tech 2 machine and knows to switch off the ids light..
    i got my bilsteins from Larkspeed fella as they were cheaper then Courtney ,Lmf, Regal etc etc

    You can notice a big difference in the handling then,On our estate the front sits so high and just seems to wonder on the road at times..
    Just doesn`t feel planted if thats the right way to put it..Lol..

    i drove paul macs vxr with the same set up bud before i splashed out on mine as i said fella the car is light and day difference now the car is smoother dosnt crash over bumps and handles like you dont believe, it also puts the ids rubbish to shame... pity your not closer id let you drive mine
