rear stereo

im really interested in fitting the rear stereo in my vc c 2.2sri o4 model can this be done.? is the wiring already installed how..? how does it work in relation to the front head unit as its hard work listening to finding nemo on the long trips to the relatives

I take it you have used the 'fade' control to just have the sound out of the rear speakers?
Just thinking your kids will have to wear headsets to listen in the back if you wish to have something else on in the front and if they are very young (as they are listening to nemo) you may find they don't like the idea of having to wear them.
Headsets cut you off from the rest of the world (i.e. mum & dad) great for teenagers not so for younger kids.

would prefer the litle blighters wear headsets,but can it be done can you install a split system in the vectra and any idea where to source one

You 'may' have the wiring already there. The controls for the Twin Audio fit into the rear console (where the rear 12V soket is). The brochure specifies that this is only available on the CDR 2005, but someone on here, can't recall who, has fitted it to their CCR 2006.

I don't know how it all wires up, but it is possible. Hopefully someone who has done it will be along. Which head unit do you have BTW?
