My car on Frdiay evening suddenly displayed the symbol in the little screen just untill starting then went away.

We were going to Brighton in it friday night from Wakefield west yorkshire and thought sod it lets just risk it,any way it did the complete return journey with no problems,but still the light comes on every time before starting.

I recently fitted a CR1 at the beginning of Jan with no problems no light i know other people have had this light on if they turned it too high.

Should i take it to the dealers or wait to see if anything comes of it,if not can i get the symbol to stop coming up reset or something.

sure it means its logged a fault mate needs tech 2d im afraid to pin point it

Take the box off 1st, if the light still comes on take it in to a dealer, my guess is it wont once the box is off, can't understand why ppl are in such a hurry, if the all out map was suitable VX would program it as standard, there's a saying that an engine has only so many revs in it, making it get there quicker sn't a good financial bet, why not spend the money in the looks dept and drive slower so ppl can go...............ooooooooh look at that. JMO.

further to all the above, it actually means that it has a minor fault logged, nothing too bad it won't work.. but just that there is something that happened ( even for just a split second) that it didn't like..

only panic when it stays on, then it's straight to the dealers..

if you don't like the light, you can either wait for 25 restarts nd it'll disappear.. or just disconnect the battery for 5 mins to clear the ECU..
