Steering Wheel Controls

Hi guys,

I've got a facelift Vectra with the canbus wheel (scrollers etc). But I can't work out what the two buttons on the left hand side of the wheel are for? I daren't press them either lol!

Doesn't say in the handbook, and the pics on them don't mean anything to me either!

The buttons on the left will scroll through the menus available from the headunit in the car / BC
It's not immediately obvious, but the furthest left control is also a push button as well as a scroller.

The bottom left button changes between cd and radio and the top left scans through the radio stations which have been saved

lol sorry mate,although i did hear if you press them altogether it will eject the passenger seat with the moaning misses in it

Lol if there anything like mine the only one that consistently does the same thing is the volume!!

The others seem to have a mind of there own and do as they please! To the point that sometimes I can press the same button three times and get three different outcomes lol

i religated the misses to the back and my 3 year old sits in the front but the problem ive now got is if i crank up the voloume i get cbeebies theme tunes at 100db

The furthest roller to the left is for the on board computer I beleive which is annoying as I have the CD30 head unit and pressing it says 'no function' !

It would appear I have the steering wheel control as well as radio button for the on board computer but I don't actually have one lol!!

Without high jacking the thread, as I'm planning on fitting an aftermarket radio, does anyone know if the steering wheel buttons are removable and blanking plates can be installed instead?
