I've heard lots of good things about this stuff: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/sile...lume-pack.html and it's a half decent price as well.

20 sheets should be enough to do a complete boot and depending on how much you use, probably get at least 2 doors out of it. If not, you can buy a bulk pack with 40 sheets for £80 http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/sile...bulk-pack.html

If you want a cheap option...
Go to DIY store or eBay and get lead flashing tape about 20 quid for 5 metres.
Just does the same job for half the price.

The only problem with flashing tape is that it may be half the price, but it's also twice the weight.

The Silent Coat is only 3kgs/SqM

Hi, looking at trying to reduce road noise too - smooth surfaces are lovely and quiet, others are suddenly very noisy..

Thought I'd try this in the boot possibly:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silent-Coa...4AAOSwgQ9ViUpz

But then this is 10mm which would make a difference?
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6-Sheets-C...MAAOSwrklVEr6Z

Pretty keen to avoid any bad smells from reported from cheaper products but also don't have alot of cash.... 10mm will be better than 2mm thickness because its thicker? Anyone done anything like this recently? Any thoughts appreciated!

I've done boot at my signum, the effect it is not what I expected. It is better but not perfect.
