Tommy - how long did the swirl removal take? did you apply the glaze and wax by hand or machine?

in total, how long did you spend on her? you must've thought you were finished by the time you got to the back doors, she's alot bigger than the astra.

PC is short for porter cable, its the company that makes a particular polisher. in fact its a random orbital polisher to give its correct title.

probably one of, if not the safest way of removing swirls from your paintwork.

best/quickest/cheapest way of getting one is to import from the states. have a look on detailingworld.com and all shall become clear. their is a discount you can use aswell to order from autopia in the USA

Didn`t take as long as the astra, as there wasn`t much swirls on it. Just needed 1 pass with #80, polished it in about 2 and a half hours. I normally put the show car shine on by hand but it was really cold today so I did it with a finishing pad on the pc, it worked well as there wasn`t any heat to dry it, I did 1 side then the other, then the roof, bonnet & boot. The wax I did by hand, einsett is very thin and easy to work with, did 2 panels at a time. Started at just before 9 and finished just after 3 . Being a silver car you usally can`t see much odds, but it has come better than I expected ...
