Default thanks for being lazy con artists main dealers

recently converted my rear windows to electric ones, took it into main dealers for tech2 75 quid they quoted , hour later i get phone call we cant get them to work your switches are no good you need to buy new ones (lies cos bought the whole car complete and checked they were working before swapping)....anyway pick the car back up and was told dont pay til you buy switches and bring it back to us... on the way home our two year old opens one of the windows it was working fine, spoke to plasma on here who said they either they had not programmed it right as one opens other doesnt or the wiring was faulty, took the rubber tube out between the rear door and the pillar and there is a broken white cable solder it together...hey presto all working
so would like to thank plasma who was spot on....and if your thinking of doing the conversion snip the white wire before you take it to the stealers they cant be arsed to look for the problem you save 75 quid plus however much they were gonnna rip me off for new switches

So in reality they were right by saying there was a fault, ok it wasn't the switches themselves but the wiring! Lazy yes but I can't see the con!! Unless your saying they had broke the wire on purpose!!! If all was working before swapping could it have been you who broke the wire?

your still 75 quid up though, so good result.
