    Default Which Shocks

One of our vectras needs a front shock as its leaking, but seen as the SRI suspension is stiffer which shock should i go for as i cant find any listed for SRI specifically on Ebay, also its a 05 Pre Facelift so wont that be different to the Facelift suspension also??
The only type i can see that are mabey a bit better are these

Never actually used Monroes, believe they do make a lowered SRi type. Supposed to be ok.

Well, a friend of mine fitted Monroes, and they were leaking a few months later. OEM GTS (probably the same for SRi) are Sachs. Equivalents Eibachs are B4, and they probably are their cheapest ones.

Monroes may be cheaper (still has to be checked), but maybe you should first enquire about better makes.

Not trying to be picky but that's Bilstein B4 Eibachs are normally the springs.

So the B4's are the equivalents to the factory shocks? i thought i read somewhere here that the B6's were the equivalent and the B4's were a bit softer no?

I thought the B4s were OEM replacements for family cars and the B6 were uprated for the SRi and the like OEM replacements?

    Default

B4 are oem spec, b6 are uprated sports shocks so they are a bit stiffer than the standard Sri ones. Hence why some Sri owners upgrade to Bilstein B6
