    Default Towbar wiring

    Just got from vauxhall towbar wiring kit part number93171360
    for the wife's 55 plate face lift but when removing the boot panel to find there I somthing pluged in to the scocket that I am suppose to use so I folled it down in to the tyre well where ther is another scocket I do have parking sensors I believe that this is pluged in the place I need vauxhall say there in no plug scocket for the one one in the boot can any one help the wife want to go in the caravan and I just don't need the ear bashing

    Unusual for such a late car to have it but this wiring will be the factory fit towbar wiring that vx never utilised or made a kit for. Unplug the plug and plug yours in its place

    Thanks not even vaxhall could tell me thatI just wasn't sure if that was the case or I could just chop the to pluggs off and hard wire them together car is an x demo facelift modle wasent sure if the parking sensor was pluged in to that will I still need it have it activated do you no

    The parking sensors connect into a box that's slid onto the rear fuse box and has Bosch written on it

    It's a hit or miss for the towbar needing programmed but I I had mine fitted to a preface and a facelift and didn't have to program either
