Default mud flaps... talk to me

Hi all, had a look round but cant seem to find much info. I want some front mud flaps and was thinking of the cheapo GM logo ones from the bay. Has anyone fitted these? Do you just tap them into the arch liner? Cheers, Rob

I had some of the GM logo ones on, I used stainless steel self tappers with large flat washers. Unfortunately I hit some rough ground and it simply got pulled off as you are screwing into the thin plastic arch liner. So unless you can get something to spread the load on the hole in the liners, you may end up losing them.

I took the three remaining ones off and fitted the official moulded ones and gave the remaining ones to Tonyblade.

Use plastic rivets to fix mudflaps, like those that fix the bottem of the bumper. Plenty on ebay
