    Default Tick, tick!

    Hi there I have recently got the problem with my 3.2v6 signum. The engine is making a ticking noise. Seems to be from top of engine. I searched the forum and could be the tappets or needs oil change. Last oil change was last year but unknown of quality of oil as garage done it. If I change the oil will I need to change it again when I get tappets done or can I keep same oil? I don't want to do the oil then engine. Still ticking then forking out for more oil if tappets need done! Any. Suggestions? Thanks .

    I'd start with an oil and filter change

    You can keep the oil in when doing the tappet adjustments, there should be no need to drop the oil out.

    check the exhaust manifolds if they crack it can sound like tappets

    Their hydraulic tappets arnt they?
