    Default Igniton wires? Please help

    Hi there I am trying to locate the starter motor wires from ignition barrel for a start button to work please could anyone tell me where the wires are located have taken all trim off around steering wheel and I'm unsure of weather I need to take steering wheel off or not to find big wires for starter motor any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

    Personally i think you'll be ****ing in the wind on that one.. its controlled by the CIM and and far as im aware its not going to be possible to do.
    I know your thinking old skool Vauxhall with the switch box on the back of ignition which had the larger wires your looking for

    You won't find any 'big wires' from the ignition switch to the starter. The starter relay is driven by a signal from the ECU.

    I can't really see the point of a start button anyway as you would still have to have the key in the ignition for the immobiliser to work, and then there's the steering lock.

    Cim controlled mate.

    Is their much point when you need key in ignition still?
