Default Looking for a LUK flywheel(1.9CDTi)

    Afternoon everyone.

I'm looking for a LUK flywheel for a 1.9 150. Anyone know the best (ie. cheapest) place to pick one up from?

    Cheers

Try euro car parts, i've been quoted around £400 for one on the VXR.

lmf vauxhall have genuine (sachs) boxed ones for £199 plus delivery i think if you go aftermarket get a sachs one as it will be identical to the vx one (well should be)

Balls I'd forgot about ECP! It's the LUK one I'm specifically after, they're holding up to the higher torque of the hybrid turbos much better than Sachs ones.

    Cheers guys.

ah fair enough im always warey of mickey mouse flywheels as when i was at vaux we had a 3.0 cdti siggy come in that had a mickey mouse flywheel and the hole locations wernt deep enough causing the bolts to bottom out in the crank and torque up without actually fixing the flywheel tight to the crank, the resultant loose flywheel did the cranks and the vibration cos the guy kept driving it also knackered the timing gears Turning the engine into a very large and oily paper weight lol. but if the luk ones are known to be good i cant see a problem, would be interested to hear more about them being more robust. am already starting to gather together my options when it comes to uprating my clutch as after 30k and a bit of hard mostly remapped miles my clutch isnt feeling its best (i know, im a clutch killer, i drive my car hard and i dont mind admitting it, im not gonna spend lots of money tuning it to drive it like a granny, and racing and beating chavvys in saxos is too much fun )

If you can actually collect the DMF if using ECP.. the box may well be an LUK one but the contents might not be.. found this a few occasions now. They got a container load direct from LUK hence why they are so cheap to buy from them compared to other places.. but also 'spare boxes'

    Hi all,

I'm looking for a replacement DMF / Clutch kit for a late '57 CDT1 with engine type Z19DTH, 6 speed box and I need to find out exactly which gbox I have, but no-one can tell without disassembling under the bonnet. I want to source the parts online and get my local garage to fit and save some ££'s - can anyone point me in the right direction please? If you need more info let me know. Thanks

stand facing your car, with the bonnet up - take the engine cover off, on the RHS is where your gearbox is. Look past the battery and down towards the floor - hopefully you will see a cast metal bit - its massive, on there it will say what you gearbox is, my guess would be it says F40
