    Default Look what I just fitted?????

    Hi heard Cd30 , Cd30 mp3 and Cd70 and this Cdc40 is the best sounding and loudest standard head unit I've heard. So I fitted one lol !!!!

    I used a half CAN BCM for all the CAN communications - lighting control and temperature sensor
    then a half CAN CIM module for ignition logic and the ice warning.
    I also fitted scrollers to operate the radio and display - I just interfaced my cruise control and fuel computer stalks on the cav to contacts on the scroller pcb's.

    I am now just in the process of converting from GID to CID, as the big map display looks good in the Cav, sat between my GSi fuel computer and my Astra GTE Digi dash

    To display track name and artist etc. burn the audio cd with cd text enabled and should work.

    Had my CDC40 with Dab fitted not long ago, best thing I ever did to the car! except the hids, oh and the re-map!

    I agree about the sound quality, it's great. Mine doesn't display artist name, song title, etc though... is there a setting I should be activating?
