    Default shock absorber size query

    hard to describe but here goes}

    basically had a snapped spring on rear ended up changing full set for apex 35mm drop .
    car is vec 1.9 cdti 16v sri springs are fitted correct way up
    and correct load for axles.
    problem is o/s/f is very stiff almost no bounce
    i did notice on removing springs on front there were 2 different spring sizes.
    i know the factory sri shocks are fine for these springs unsure about standard shocks
    could it be that in the past it has had a standard spring and shock fitted on o/s/f and would this be my problem of the shock bottoming out due to not enough travel.
    or anything else
    cheers guys

    Yes, SRI shocks are different, and should be used if lowering from standard suspension (or use aftermarket sports short travel shocks as well).
