Wrong iso connection, you will need the quad lock version. If yours is a facelift model.

Also wrong aerial connector for facelift.

Make sure you get the Vectra version facia. I bought mine of Ebay and twice the Muppet (not this seller I don't think) sent me the Astra version, which does not fit correctly or look right.

Well with not getting my parrot working, it not being able to Bluetooth music anyway and me totally missing being able to listen to my play tunes I'm in need of sorting out my ice!

I did look at maybe getting a CD30 MP3 unit but I'm getting to know a lot more about this cars electrics and I know I need the screen also married together or it's Tech2 and the cost goes up. I have a Blaupunkt head unit that's been in nearly all my cars from the past 5 years or so that I would like to maybe now put in instead. I have found this link here for an ISO harness plus aerial lead:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1606514471...137%26_rdc%3D1

Does that look ok or is it trash? On eBay as you go price low to high the next stuff up is leads with fascia adaptor but as you guys said above, the leads are wrong and then going up in price again its leads, fascia adaptor and head unit which is daft as I have my own head unit!

Any help is appreciated, man this has got to be the first car that's been so complicated just to update a head unit lol !!

That one will work, however it is just an ISO converter, it's not a steering wheel control kit. You'll have to hook the red flying wire to a switched live (cig lighter is the easiest to tap) and that will allow any radio you buy to work in the car.

If you want a steering wheel control adaptor, then you need CTSVX002 with the relevant patch lead for your radio. Dynamic Sounds sell a lot of CTSVX002 kits with make specific patch leads on ebay for around the £33-35 mark.

    Found it!

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3507391328...894%26_rdc%3D1

So I need the above lead, an aerial adaptor and also a fascia adaptor?

To recoup some of the costs, what's a CD30 worth with no screen as I'll need to keep the old one lol!

Also, if I change head unit, can the patch leads be bought seperately?

That's the fella, and yeah - you need those three bits. The CD30 won't be worth much in all honesty, that's why I've kept mine as I'll just put it back in the car if I get rid of it.

The patch leads can be bought separate as well, their nomenclature is CT(stereoname)LEAD, so CTPIONEERLEAD, CTSONYLEAD, CTALPINELEAD etc...
