Horn and steering wheel controls not working on vec c facelift 06

Hi all, about a month ago the steering wheel controls stopped working and the lights went out on the steering wheel too, for some reason when I full locked the steering wheel to the right the lights on the steering wheel and controls would work but now they have totally stopped, I have had a tv fitted in the car where the radio is but there was no problem at all for months so I dont think its this. The horn has stopped working now about 2 days ago and the controls and lights dont work at all either. Cruise control works fine. Any ideas?? thanks

I was having a little look but im scared incase my airbag pops out lol. dont know where to start.. maybe I should take it vauxhall and let them charge me £75 to ''take a look''

Disconnect batt

go for brew come back 15 mins later.

feel for holes on back an with flat blade screwdriver twist to unlock the spring clips an pull airbag off

Check the connection behind the the steering wheel controls. I disconnected the left steering controls as i messed it up( another story) other controls stopped working as well as the horn. But working again after reconnecting the controls.
